Website Information
This website provides general information about CPR, AED, First Aid, BLS, Narcan awareness, and emergency preparedness training offered by Midcoast Emergency Training.
Not Emergency Medical Advice
Website content is for general education and class information only. It is not a substitute for emergency medical care, professional medical advice, workplace policies, licensing requirements, or dispatcher instructions. In an emergency, call 911 and follow dispatcher instructions.
Class Requests and Scheduling
Submitting a request does not guarantee a class date, seat availability, instructor availability, certification, or final pricing. Class details are confirmed directly before a class is scheduled.
Pricing and Payment
Prices listed on this website are general estimates. They may vary based on course type, group size, location, materials, certification requirements, travel, and scheduling needs. Payment timing, accepted payment methods, and any deposit or balance requirements will be confirmed before a class is finalized.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
Please give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Midcoast Emergency Training may also reschedule or cancel a class because of unsafe weather, illness, emergency response obligations, low enrollment, equipment issues, site concerns, or other circumstances outside reasonable control. Any refund, credit, deposit, or rescheduling terms will be confirmed directly for the specific class or group.
Certification and Course Completion
American Heart Association and other course completion cards are issued only when the required course components are successfully completed. This may include attendance, skills practice, skills testing, written testing, online course completion, payment, or other requirements set by the course provider or issuing organization.
Participant Responsibility
CPR and First Aid training can involve kneeling, bending, physical practice, and use of training equipment. Participants should tell the instructor before class if they have physical limitations or need a reasonable accommodation. Training improves preparedness, but no class can guarantee a specific result in a real emergency.
